November 21, 2014 - Citing Finger Lakes Health Systems Agency reports, this op-ed points out that African-Americans within the city of Rochester have a premature mortality rate that is almost 300 percent higher than whites who live outside of the area. African-American and Latinos with diabetes also experience higher mortality rates, hospitlizations and lower extremeity amputations.
