Activity Limitations among Older Adults
Finger Lakes Region
This chart is based on BRFSS survey data and displays the percentage of older adults in the Finger Lakes who have activity limitations due to a physical, mental or emotional problem. The "18+" bar enables a comparison of the older adults to the overall adult population. While there were no significant differences in prevalence among the four age groups presented, this chart still illustrates that activity limitations impact approximately one-fifth to one-quarter of the older adult population within the region.
