High School Graduation Rates by Race/Ethnicity
New York Finger Lakes Region (2022)
The chart shows graduation rates throughout the Finger Lakes Region. The graduation rate is defined as the percentage of students from the 2018 ninth grade cohort that graduated on-time in 2022.
The overall graduation rate of the Finger Lakes region is 85%. This is consistent in Monroe County and among the other eight regional counties combined. Additionally, there are clear disparities based on student race and ethnicity regardless of geography. The graduation rates of White students are consistently higher than the rates of Black and Latino students.
