Blankley manages Common Ground Health's day-to-day activities, including directly supervising research and analytics activities and IT operations. A strategic advisor to the CEO and chief medical officer to ensure alignment with national, state and local initiatives to improve health outcomes, he works with internal teams to develop and implement policies and programs in support of the organization’s mission and vision. This year marks the 30th anniversary of Forty Under 40, which recognizes Rochester's leaders who are 39 years of age or younger for their professional accomplishments, community service and commitment to inspiring change. These individuals are not only achieving success in their careers but giving back in meaningful ways to the Rochester community. Over the years, the Rochester Business Journal has recognized 1,200 outstanding young professionals with this award.
A panel of judges consisting of prior year honorees from different professions selected this year’s Forty Under 40 recipients.
“This year’s Forty Under 40 honorees are making their mark on their professions and on the community. Their accomplishments are impressive, and they understand that giving back is part of their mission,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, managing director of BridgeTower Media/Rochester Business Journal. “We at the Rochester Business Journal are proud to recognize them for all they have done and will continue to do to make Rochester a wonderful place to live and to work.”
This year's Forty Under 40 will be honored Nov. 12 at an awards celebration at The Strong Museum of Play, One Manhattan Square Drive in Rochester. The celebration will kick off at 5:30 p.m. with registration and a networking reception. The awards program begins at 6:15 p.m. in the theater followed by dinner and a celebration throughout the museum.
Honorees will be profiled in a magazine that will be inserted into the Nov. 15 issue of the Rochester Business Journal and will be available online at RBJ.net.
