Locating local health data just got easier with Common Ground Health’s new streamlined website.
CommonGroundHealth.org preserves many of the resources from the previous website, but simplifies getting to the information.
For instance, analysis from Common Ground Health’s data sets are organized into a section called Insights. That section is anchored by a data library with more than 200 charts and graphs that can be downloaded and shared. The Insights section also includes published reports and data on counties throughout the Finger Lakes region.
“As the Finger Lakes region’s health research and planning organization, Common Ground wants our website to be as robust as our many data sets are,” said Wade Norwood, CEO of Common Ground Health. “The new site ensures that partners and the public can quickly and easily access research and analysis on the region’s health.”
The site also includes a new section for collaborative groups Common Ground convenes with membership lists, related news and Insights.
A new timeline traces Common Ground’s 59-year history back to its roots as the Patient Care Council founded by Eastman Kodak Co. director Marion Folsom, previously the U.S. Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare.
The “Health Wiz” quiz on the home page challenges visitors to test their knowledge of health and wellbeing in the Greater Rochester and Finger Lakes region. As before, the site offers visitors a way to sign up for Common Ground newsletters and view past issues.
CommonGroundHealth.org was designed by a collaborative team from McDougall Communications, Antithesis Advertising and CMS Max.
