The campaign raises awareness of the importance of caregiver love and support of infants and toddlers. A “Love from the Start” commercial aired on WROC-TV in pre- and post-game coverage of the Jan. 26 Buffalo Bills vs. Kansas City Chiefs football game. View that commercial here. The campaign also includes advertising on billboards, public transit, social media, online, and through media interviews. Members of the Indigenous Health Coalition celebrated a year with the release of a new mission, vision and logo. Indigenous Coalition celebrates first anniversaryThe Indigenous Health Coalition recently marked its first year anniversary by sharing how members formed the coalition by building relationships. They gave an update on their work’s focus and shared their new mission, vision, and logo. “We settled on three specific areas where we felt like we could make some immediate and specific impact,” said Todd Michel Waite, a member of the Seneca Nation (Bear Clan). Coalition members are now developing goals and outcomes for their work. “Today starts a new journey,” Waite said. “We’ve got the foundation and now we begin again to start to fill those baskets with good medicine.” Director of Analytics Jamie Hayslip joins teamWelcome to Jamie Hayslip, our new Director of Analytics! He manages analytics projects, delivering on the data-related agency work plan initiatives and coordination of analytic-related activities. He also co-manages the research and analytics team, working with the COO and the director of research. An information technology professional and leader with nearly two decades of experience in healthcare management, quality improvement and cost reduction, Hayslip previously held leadership roles at NextGen Healthcare. Learn more. The Speak Life! Health Equity Conference will take place April 24. Themed Generational Resilience: Honoring Our Ancestors, Celebrating Today and Creating Hope for Tomorrow, the conference is seeking speakers on non-traditional methods of healing.
