Keeping Older Healthcare Workers Engaged." Participants should be healthcare professionals age 50 or older who are currently working in the field or who have worked in the field in the past 2 years. The article also covers how local programs like Rochester Refugee Resettlement Services and the Health Professional Opportunity Grant have helped place workers into the healthcare field. Topics include: workforce supply and demand, core competencies, care teams and family caregivers. The issue includes a specific analysis of tasks completed by paid caregivers in New York City compared to New York State Department of Health's basic training for Medicaid-funded caregivers.
