September 2019New York State Public Health Association Webinar: Establishing a Model for Certified Recovery Peer Advocate Training Programs Presented by Andrea Salis, PhD, CHES and Lori Conkling, MA, of Queensborough Community College of the City University of New York, this presentation aims to share the experiences of integrating a non-credit training program with a college-credit health education course. This course provides students with the knowledge, skills and opportunities for employment to help individuals through their recovery process. The webinar will take place at noon on Sept. 18.
